Every October, individuals and organisations are encouraged to prioritise work health and safety (WHS) by taking preventative action to reduce the number of work-related injuries, illnesses and fatalities.
The campaign aims to promote a positive culture of safety and to emphasise the importance of good WHS practices. The theme for the October 2024 campaign is ‘Safety is everyone’s business’
National Safe Work Month includes a focus on several health, safety and wellbeing topics, in a commitment to building safe and healthy workplaces for everyone.
