ACU proudly supports the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program, which assists people with non-visible disabilities in a discreet and supportive way. Staff members are encouraged to get involved and become sunflower champions.
Free confidential counselling is available for staff and their immediate family through the Employee Assistance Program. A dedicated help line for people with disability and carers is available by calling 1300 561 043.
Unlawful behaviour, including harassment or discrimination of a person with a disability or their family members, is not tolerated at ACU. Anyone experiencing or witnessing inappropriate behaviour can raise their concerns with their supervisor, lodge a formal complaint or seek assistance from People and Capability by lodging a Service Central request.
