Overview of the Scheme Guidelines and Procedures 2024 RecipientsThe Teaching Development Grants (TDG) Scheme at ACU is designed to support scholarship of teaching and learning, program and curriculum initiatives, and innovation in higher education teaching and learning. TDGs are open to individuals or teaching teams (including professional staff) for projects designed to enhance student learning at the University. The grants are intended to reflect and extend professional development in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) and inform and support applications for teaching awards and citations.
The 2025 guidelines and procedures will be published before the next TDG round opens in 2025.
Staff interested in applying for the 2025 TDG round can refer to the 2024 guidelines and procedures for an overview of the application process. Each year, the TDG guidelines are updated to provide a clear roadmap for submitting applications, ensuring a fair and equitable process for all applicants.
All grant applications are assessed by the ACU Awards and Grants Assessment Group, chaired by the Academic Lead, Scholarship and Professional Learning, CEI. The process is competitive, and applications are judged against the criteria outlined in the guidelines.
